Graduation was yesterday right? I can’t believe that it has been twenty years since we stood on Sullivan Field waiting for our names to be called.
Anyhow, guess it has been twenty years because:
-I spent six weeks in China, Korea and Japan
-Four years at Fort Lewis College getting a degree in Humanities. Graduated in 1992.
-Spent four months student teaching with Ms. Delgado to get a Elementary Teaching certificate
-Six months taking Early Childhood classes at San Juan College in Farmington , New Mexico. To be closer to my boyfriend whom I married in 1994
-Two years teaching Southern Ute children in Ignacio , Colorado
-Two years teaching preschool in Bloomfield, New Mexico and getting a Special Education license
-Have lived in Durango, CO. Bloomfield, NM and Farmington, NM
-I have been married for thirteen years and have three children ages ten, eight and two. One girl (10) and two boys.
-Heard about a ten year reunion, what the heck didn’t we just graduate which I was unable to attend.
-I have a mortgage on a house that we should have paid off by our 30th reunion.
-Since my husband is a DJ in addition to being a High School teacher, he will be unable to attend but I might. Do worry , I will register.
So I think that adds up to about twenty years give or take. Math was not my strong area in High School.
